Created for the Art Direction Module at the University of Gloucestershire. Inspired by films like Blade Runner (1982), L.A. Confidential (1997) and Double Indemnity (1944), Jake sought to create a 1950's era Film Noir short. It came from a simple idea, 'What if a Detective solved his own murder?'

The short was successfully crowdfunded on GoFundMe and was directed by Jake from a script co-written with fellow student Jake Mayo. For the main character of the Detective, Jake approached Mark Forester-Evans after they had both worked together on Scrawl (2015).
